Q. I am a victim of domestic violence, what can I do to get the no contact order lifted?
Summary: The other day my girlfriend and I got into an argument inside of our car while driving. After pulling over on the side of the freeway I started yelling in her face and she pushed me away in defense and in doing so accidentally scratched my face. A cop pulled up behind us to see if we were ok and arrested my girlfriend for assault per domestic violence due to the scratch. The officer didn't read her Miranda rights to her, can the case be dropped? She went to court and there is a no contact order. As the victim is there a way to lift the order so I can see my girlfriend? Also what can my girlfriend do to go thru the court process as soon as possible? By the way this is her first criminal offense.

Q. Can i still go back to the store i use to shoplift?
Summary: I was almost caught shoplifting at Target and I think the guys took down my name and DOB. I'm not sure. He said from now on I can only go to Target with a parent since I was a minor back then. They banned me from the store and I heard that if they banned you but still go back there shopping they can call the police to arrest you. I'm an adult now and I wonder if I can return to shopping there?

Q. I was caught stealing about $20 worth of make up yesterday from Wal Mart and I want to know what will happen next?
Summary: I stole about $20 worth of make up and I opened one package. The security came out and told me to go in to a room and give them all of the makeup that i took. I took it out of my purse and gave it to them. The police were not called and I didnt have to sign any papers. I am 19 and I am freaking out beacuse I dont want my parents to find out. Please tell what is going to happen to me. Thank you.

Q. My lawyer says that if I FAIL a Polygraph, that they cannot violate my probation. I don't understand, is this true?

Q. What happen if you have an arrest warrant?
Summary: What happen if you're supposed to receive a letter for a court date and some how you miss it and now you have an arrest warrant, will the police try to find you or do they just put it on you and somehow try to catch you another way? Perhaps in a traffic stop?
